Introduction to Digital Filmmaking and TV Production
Be part of a film crew and produce your own TV show! Broadcast your ideas about your community and your world. This class teaches youth with little to no filmmaking experience how to turn their stories into movies. Learn to camera skills, screenwriting and interview skills, as well as basic audio & video editing software. Students will create an episode of BAYCAT's award-winning youth created TV show Zoom In.
Advanced Film Production
High School students who have completed two sessions of Digital Filmmaking and TV Production classes have the opportunity to take a leadership role on the production and completion of Zoom In. These students will also take on special projects including commercials and music videos for local artists and community clients, as well as editing Zoom In.
