WHO WE ARE
The Reachout for the Rainbow After School is a nonprofit faith based program located in the “heart” of the Bayview Hunters Point Community at 1400 Palou & Keith Streets. Our staff is a diverse intergenerational team of talented individuals who work to provide a safe and educationally enriching environment for all of the program participants. Volunteer staff members have backgrounds in Mathematics, Science, Marriage & Family Services, Writing, English, Health, Nutrition, Fitness, Environmental Studies, Art, and college research. The Program Director is an Endorsed CALSAC Trainer.

OUR MISSION
We provide quality tutoring services, specifically to the children and youth of the San Francisco Hunters Point Bayview Community and other outlying areas, increase students’ performance skills and abilities in academic studies by providing a variety of educational activities, and seek to instill a sense of pride and discipline in the students.

VISION
We work as a cooperative, creative team, dedicated to enhancing the learning of the inner-city communities’ children by designing and delivering services responsive to the student’s needs. Our services strive to demonstrate valuable leadership, wise utilization of resources, cooperative relationships with the church, local school districts and other agencies, and a commitment to being a learning and evolving program.
