Young Adult Workshops
Free one-day introductory project-based workshops that provide technical training where participants have the opportunity to gain hands-on job experience. All programs are led by industry professionals who offer training in Adobe Suite Programs and film production techniques.
Women and people of color between the ages of 18 - 25 are strongly encouraged to apply. All workshops are conducted on select Saturdays and lunch is provided.
Types of workshops include: Intro to Production, Editing with Adobe Premiere, Intro to filmmaking with 360 Cameras.
Workshop on Wheels
We work with schools and community-based nonprofits to develop media production workshops for their students. The workshops provide hands-on training with professional equipment and guide the students in creating a promotional video for the organization, like the one produced with the youth of the United Playaz. For the United Playaz workshop, we facilitated four sessions that included creative development, production, planning and training, and two afternoons of filming.
